Battle Ground Art Alliance 2010 9th Annual Spring Show & SaleThis event was held in the Battle Ground Community Center in May 2009. It was the first time in that venue and it proved to be a great success.
A Special Thank You to our Generous Spring Show 2009 Sponsors! The Battle Ground Art Alliance presented “Art from the Attic,” an inventory reduction and seconds sale at Battle Ground Village. It was held in conjunction Battle Ground Farmers Market, Saturday, September 12, 9 AM to 3 PM. This was a free event with donations of canned goods accepted for North County Community Food Bank. The abundance of artworks created for spring and summer events results in surplus works. Finding storage space is a challenge for artists of 2-dimensional works—paintings and photography—and even more so for artists of 3-dimensional works—pottery and sculpture. The artists’ challenge, however, is a boon for art collectors. The double purpose of “Art from the Attic” was to connect surplus artworks with appreciative owners, and to further BGAA's mission to promote art appreciation in the community. Buyers at the event found art they love at less-than-expected prices. There were tables of glass, pottery, paintings, cards, photographs, jewelry and ovo art. Some of the participating artists were Elise Astleford, Peggy Bird, Janet Borst, Carole DeGregory, Linda Hattershide, Jan Leeuwenburg, Shirley Morsman, Marilyn Ray, Paulette Smith and. Jodi Tripp. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The 2007 Show & Sale was another success. We want to extend our thanks to all of the artists whom entered their works of art. We also thank everyone involved in making this show a success. And we especially want to thank everyone who donated to the show. It would not be a success without the generous donations we received from the community.
On Saturday March 17th we enjoyed the Jazz sounds of Darcy Schmitt & Brent Gjevre.
Sunday March 18th artists and the community came & enjoyed the artists reception. Awards were presented by Mayor Idsinga this year.
