LandfillArt Project

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update, on the LandfillArt Project that Teresa Anderson, Jules Koch, and myself participated in.  We each recieved a hubcap in the mail, I got a 1953 Cadiallac!

Our finished pieces on the website:, to see Teresa's or Jules just type in their names in the search by artist  bar.

I made a tribute to Johnny Cash's song:  One Piece at a Time, I took apart model cars and incorporated pieces into a mosaic!

January Quarterly Social

Here on some pics of the wonderful presentations, we had for our Jan. social.

Vicky Seagull-Schell gave a very enlightening demonstration of slab work and how she forms the clay, and uses various kitchen tools and molds.  Vicky also told an amusing story of the time she was doing a Raku firing and the garbage can "kiln" exploded!

Hilarie Couture graciously showed us how she approaches a portrait drawing and in about 30 min. went from a blank canvas to a beautiful color picture.

Thank you ladies for making our January social a great success!
