Cheryl gets her inspiration from God's creations. She tries to translate into her art the beauty of nature by means of the special qualities of the glass itself, designing animals, trees & leaves,  incorporating found items: metal flowers, figurines, ceramic, and other miscellanous things into her art.  Her art is fun and well as functional.  She enjoys making bird houses, bird baths, wall hangings, mirrors, fountains, and table tops.  A favorite saying:' " If' it's flat and sits long enough, it's fair game for mosaics."

Cheryl has been a member of the board for Battle Ground Art Alliance and a member of  Ridgefield Art Association for the past five years.  You can find her artwork for sale at Fusions Gallery in Ocean Shores,  and currently in  the Drew-Jones Studio Art rotation. She also particpates in special shows at BGAA Spring Show, RAA Art Show, Gallery360,  Vancouver Recycled Arts Festival, Green Drinks Holiday Event, Art in the Park in Longview, and the Ladybug bazaar.

Cheryl also enjoys making special pieces for customers request.

Cheryl also enjoys photography, quilting, scrapbooking, reading, camping, hunting and fishing, traveling with her husband, driving through the hills/woods, being outside and doing yardwork.  She has 2 stepsons, 2 children, and 2 granchildren, 1 horse, 1 dog, 1 cat, and a turtle.
